KIM SHIN and the Group, LA NEXUS JAPAN, performed a
musical program in December 2001 at Maiti Nepal’s new Rehabilitation and Protection Centre for
children, girls, and women.
Mr. Kim Shin's musical talents not only created a unique sense of peace of mind, but also reflected
their deep affection for Maiti Nepal. His soothing music mesmerized adults and children alike who were
transported to a world of fairytales and fantasy. Mr. Kim Shin’s compositions described silent nights
with the twinkling stars, deep oceans with blue skies, and carried each individual to a world of peace
and harmony.
Their presence not only entertained, but also gave a message of love and encouragement to the efforts
of Maiti Nepal. The children of Maiti Nepal performed Nepali dances and sang Nepali songs, as a gesture
of their appreciation, gratitude, and reciprocal feelings.
